more about me
Outside of academics, I like bouldering, hiking, playing video games and board games, and drawing.
from Montreal
On campus at McGill University, I was involved with the McGill Artificial Intelligence Society and the Society of Undergraduate Mathematics Students Council. I was also part of the 2019 AI4Good Summer Lab cohort.
Aside from being part of student-run clubs, I was a research assistant for the Social Media and Crowdsourcing Assessment of Weather Impacts (SMaCAWI) Lab under the supervision of Professor Renee Sieber. The research was funded by a grant and contract from Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), aiming to investigate how crisis managers can effectively use social media for real-time situational awareness. To see how we used various NLP and social network analysis techniques for the project, check out the landing Github repository for various links to our work, or our final project report for a detailed overview.
These are all amazing organizations and initiatives at McGill and in Montreal, check them out!
